Hello everybody this is a great Forum !

Anyways I have a question:
Do I have to have a webspace/site to be able to upload my ebook.PDF so buyers can have instant download

Cause I don't have a site ... Yes I know ... I will do it if I have to

By reading other Warrior POSTs i now know:
Filezilla
IPN
e-junkie
the Paypal buy bottem
DLGuard

Thanks guys ! But it seems like I HAVE to have a site that I can link to?

If not i'm obliged to have a webspace to make buyers download my PDF file, could you awesome genius tell me what would be good to do.

Thanks in advance

Cph

Having your own website is definitely the way to go.

Almost all of the affiliate programs will require you to host your ebook if you want to sell through them.

You could probably manage without hosting if you used a blogspot blog - then email the ebook as an attachment to people who buy. That's not really a good idea, because people expect an instant download. If you have to email it, you have to remember to keep checking your emails. Not good if you go and stay with family or friends and they don't have internet access.

Go to Namecheap.com and register yourself a domain name. If you don't want to commit much money, buy a .info domain - although I know everybody here will recommend you get a .com domain if you can.

Then head off to a webhost and buy a cheap monthly plan. Hostgator start at $4.95 for hosting a single site. As you get more confident and want more sites you can upgrade to a plan that offers more web space.

Hope some of that helps and good luck.

e-junkie will give you storage as part of their service and they do have sales pages for the products it contains but you really want to have control over the presentation.

So if you use e-junkie and for some reason do not want to get your own domain name and hosting, find a good free service to give a first class sales presentation and just use e-junkie for fulfillment.

I think you can set up to do a download from a free wordpress blog. WordPress.com — Get a Free Blog Here register and follow the extensive help on that site.

Great help though i'm seeking the cheap easy solution since i'm a poor student

Have you guys heard about UploadnSell ? It's FREE and it links directly to PayPal somehow. With this I don't need a webspace

      Can you recommend it ?

      regards

    Hi Cph,

While free spaces like Wordpress and Blogger may help, having your own domain creates a greater degree of perceived professionalism.

Now if you don't have money, then you should learn how you can provide some basic services like writing or link building. Get to know link building methods you can offer, or even better, offer yourself as a virtual assistant to assist other Internet marketers and learn in the process. This will be enough to get your first Internet funds to get a domain and a monthly hosting.

I would definitely recommend getting your own domain and hosting. Rosetrees has pretty much laid down all that you need to do here.

    best of luck,

    Aira

There's one big reason for having your website, not just for hosting your ebook and that is - its YOUR website that'll make you feel and look good.
And you'd look pathetic for many once people see
you can't afford a website - $5 for hosting and $3 for an .info domain.
Well and maybe $30 to pay for someone to do your website set-up for you if you don't want to deal with the tech side.
That's not an expense, that's an investment in YOU.

      have success!

Great posts guys and girls ! it's great to have such a forum with quick and professionel answers !
I will create my own webspace with a domain name for sure ! What I can hear from ** is that blogging is not giving us an instant DL.

I have a PDF file I want to give people instant download by tomorrow. I'm a newb at creating a site and I know it takes time to make something PRO. I want to take my time and make something pro. No quick solution I guess ...

Do anybody here have experience with Upload n Sell?

    great posts

E-Junkie will host your download. You don't need a separate site.

Now, that said, you should have one. But I do, in fact, have products on E-Junkie that can't be bought anywhere except through a WSO - there's no main sales page or file hosted on my own server; everything is handled through E-Junkie, PayPal, and AWeber.

You don't have to have a website to use ejunkie for product delivery. You can send people a naked payment link

If you are planning to be in this business for some time you definetely need a website like others are saying. It's about your image and a website may as well be a starting point; similar to laying a foundation to erect a structure.

I have great experience with Wordpress. Although others may prefer Joomla. I have never heard of Homestead though.

      Hope that helped,

Personally, I would get my own domain and hosting and site to promote and deliver the product. You can use ejunkie for secure delivery, but if you are selling your own products, you should have a site.
