I'm not sure what kind of product you are trying to market, but here are some ideas,

1. If you are trying to market a specific product, you may want to try learning how to build a blog and market via Search Engine Optimization. This way you have organic traffic to expose your product.

You could build a blog on

2. You could market via a social network. Done right this could lead to a nice networking base, as well as some great exposure to your product as well as niche.

I personally really like social media marketing, because of the personalization involved with it.

Lastly, you could take advantage of classified ads, if you live in the U.S.
These are great, because it is local, and you can really get some nice exposure for your site or product.

With all of these techniques, try not spam. This is very important for establishing a satisfactory relationship with a potential client

There are many others, but again I don't know exactly what you product you are trying to market. If I did, there may be some specific type of marketing that I would use to maximize the effectiveness of this niche.
