Need help with aweber and clickbank

Hi,

I have a website that I had someone make for me on elance (homeswithoutpayments.com). The guy is from India and I am having a tough time communicating with him to set up my newsletters with aweber, and the payment methods with clickbank - especially creating thank you pages for subscribing or buying respectively. Does anyone know someone I could use to finish up this part of my website (reasonably inexpensively and well) so I can start selling my ebook stuff?

Thanks.

When your designer wants to add any page to aweber as a 'thank you page' all you need to do is copy the URL and tick the box where it says customize thank you page.

But like the comment above, you dont need to have a special page for it as aweber have already a thank you page as default.

Setting up a newsletter with AWeber is very easy, really. Just go on the website, there's a step by step guide that tells you exactly what to do. As for the thank you page, you don't need it, it's not mandatory, just uncheck the box when setting up your newsletter with AWeber. And if you really want a thank you page and if you built your website yourself, just create a new page with a thank you message on it and then aweber will ask you to paste the thank you page url. It's really that easy. And aweber have an awesome customer service and a live chat.

    Hope that helps.

You should be more careful in who you hire to do your outsourcing. What your asking for is the most basic thing a web designer should be capable of. All you have to do is add the download think to your thank you page...

I actually use DLGuard to set everything up. It protects my digital content AND it automatically adds my sales to my mailing list.

As LondonPaladin said (thanks for your support!), DLGuard will automate setting up your download page AND automatic Aweber signups. So that way you can do it yourself, and don't need to worry about trying to explain it to your outsourcer.

A lot of beginners use DLGuard, so it's not just for advanced people or programmers!

    cheers

    Wow,
Thanks for all the help everyone - I will definitely look into DLGuard. So I guess my biggest question becomes how should I set up my sites for my ebook - should I outsource or try to learn this stuff myself. I think I would be much better at writing ebooks and copy for them than trying to learn web programming?

I think outsourcing makes sense in your situation, as you stated that programming is not your field of expertise.

Aside from DL Gaurd you may also want to look into e-Junkie, who will both host and distribute your e-book with a temporary link. Integrates beautifully with AWeber and PayPal.

E-junkie Shopping Cart for selling downloads & tangible goods

Make sure to Google for a coupon, you should be able to get at least 2 months free.

      Best of luck
