What Results Have You Had Giving Away a Toolbar

I'm thinking of having a toolbar for a main site of mine. It'd include links to the latest articles, twitter updates, and a few basic extras to keep the person coming back to the site.

If you've given away a toolbar before, what results did you have? What suggestions or insights do you have to share?

    If you do decide to go with idea you should create a pad file and upload your toolbar to all the software download sites via pad express will give you hundreds of backlinks to your sites
