Attracting Offline Sponsorship for Sport Event Website?
Hi everyone,
I am the marketing person behind a sports site that recently launched. This site will be promoting a major sports event in the summer of 2011. It will be in a week long event.
Obviously to increase the value to the end target market I need to provide travel resources, hotels, preferred restaurants to eat at and such.
Does anyone have suggestions or best practices that you have found to work with off line people when approaching them to advertise on the website? This sports event also will be attracting close to 500 people.
As it sits right now my website is ranked 4 out of 10,000,000 for one keyword (fairly competitive keyword) and 7 out of 20,000,000 for another competitive keyword.
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. Matt
