Releasing First Product! Clickbank or Paydotcom??

Hey Warriors,

I'm releasing my first product to market and I want to know if I should go with Clickbank or Paydotcom.

Obviously I would like the potential to gain as many affiliates as possible, but I don't have experience with either place.

Which is the easiest to get started with and which has better results?

Any info would be extremely greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
-Tim

clickbank has the most affiliates. however you can still make a boatload of cash on paytdotcom if you know how to drive traffic to your offer.

more affiliates use clickbank, so you will reach a broader audience. Of course it's also easier for your product to disappear in the waves

I'd recommend CB as you can usually find more affiliates to promote, and more affiliates = more $$

I've used e-junkie but never thought to advertise through manners for affiliates! I actually prefer e-junkie but found that I couldn't get affiliates because of the smaller size of their network. Thanks for this heads up I'm going to give it a try...

They both have their positives and negatives. Use the forum search function, to dig up the numerous threads that have been started, on this very subject.

CB has the market, the audience and the affiliates. It also has the serial refunders too.

Hmmm, so the general consensus seems to be choose the one that I'm most comfortable with. I would like to use paydotcom because of the fact that they pay instantly with Paypal as opposed to waiting for a check. Also, they have a lower submission fee, and they don't seem to have the serial refunder issues that CB has.

Either way, Im going to have to drive traffic to the site myself.

Is it unwise to use pay per click for traffic? I read somewhere that it may piss off affiliates because it takes from their sales.

there's nothing wrong to advertise for affiliates, that's how all the big gurus make 6 figures from their product lunch Joint Venture (JV) Lists, Announcements, Blogs, And Community Forums.

Why not take your time and do the research on both platforms; (along with any other affiliate/selling network that you can find); and formulate marketing strategies for both, (all of them)?

That way you're maximizing your exposure and your potential for making more money.

    Just a thought
