Is there any way to run PC based software (incansoft) on a MAC?

My computer crashed or something... it will not turn on.

So, I was going to buy a Mac, but I am wondering if I will not be able to use the Incansoft Products which I just bought on the labour day weekend. (luckily, I only actually uploaded one of the products that I bought onto my computer.)

But, I want to know if I somehow use the PC based products on the MAC????????????

    You can run it virtually.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

IM software creators need to start developing more software for the Mac...

Serious IM'ers make the switch to Mac's eventually and they usually seem more willing to spend money on software than the average PC user.

I think part of Market Samurai's success can be directly attributable to the factor it is multi-platform (certain "guru's" LOVE Mac stuff)...

Ranting really. Personally, if it don't run natively on a mac, I won't buy it.

And double their overheads on the basis that there's a small number of people who refuse to run it in a virtual environment?

I think you're more likely to find that a serious IMer will use the best tools for the job. Depending on what they produce. The average PC user isn't going to be buying or using tools for internet marketing - they're going to be browsing the web and playing farmville.

The ultimate solution is something that is platform independent, maybe an adobe air application.

While I understand the sentiment, I can only say it is a little shortsighted.

For your information, I have used both at the same time - I really do love using a mac. But in business terms, if you're not using a tool that you need because it won't run natively on your mac, that can only harm your business, surely?

          Kindest regards,
          Karl.

There are 2 powerful ways to run pc software from your mac and I use BOTH of them myself.

    1. VMware Fusion - this let's you run an entire version of windows in a little window. It's great. You can even run different versions of windows at the same time. You fire up a program and then you can minimize the whole os.

    2. Setup a VPW (virtual private server) - you can get one for as little as 20 bucks a month from a decent company. This is where you have windows server 2003 or 2008 running 24/7. So you log into the server remotely from your mac. Start a process and log off. This lets you run windows software without having to pay for an OS license or use up any of your processing power.

I recomend Wmware fusion like London above did. I have used it for 8 months now and it´s working perfect. It´s very easy to plug in all things too.

      Best regards

As others, i suggest you to use VMware. You can run it virtually by using this tool and install a windows on you MAC. But it needs that you RAM can support both systems.
