Split Testing Wordpress Plugin?

Hi,

I am in search of a Wordpress plugin that I can EASILY test 2 pages/posts against each other without having to setup some damn PHP scripts or pay some monthly fee.

I have been googling till my eyes have bled....but nothing is jumping out at me.

I have LP Jumper, but it doesn't really seem to do what it says....I can only split test themes with it and I can't seem to get any support either. I don't want google in my business, so website optimizer is out. There are tons of them that have been discontinued due to WP's crazy release schedule... MaxSplitpress is closed.

Any help would be appreciated,

Ryan Deiss released a plugin fairly recently called WP Split Test. Would that not fulfil your needs?

  The only thing I could find was 43 split tests which was a training / case study program. But I do have an email into to him to see if he knows of anything..

I bought a great plugin from a warrior. It was a WSO. Can't remember the URL but search in the wso forum for wordpress and GWO (google website optimizer)

tutsplus.com is a great resource. It may seem like a lot to do but once you really learn how to do it you will be better off.

Hey Rod

You could probably do this WITHOUT a plug-in.

(a) Direct your testing traffic to a link, i.e.

yoursite.com/mytest

... which redirects your traffic, half to Version 1 and half to Version 2, while it keeps an eye on stats.

(b) Track your actions.

Now, the above would probably require a minimal amount of PHP (i.e. to control the inital redirection and counting), but would mean you could bypass using Wordpress direcly for your split tests... which is FIDDLY at best

Plus, you wouldn't be relying on a third-party plug-in. Let's face it, the rate at which Wordpress changes, there's no guarantee a plug-in would work in 3 months!

I could probably write the PHP pretty easily, if you were interested (no charge). I'd probably put the code into a report so I that I can pitch a product or two, anyway.

I may write this anyway, even if you weren't personally interested... but knowing there's an interest would make me more motivated.
