WordPress ad's

INTERNET MARKETING

Yesterday i installed a free WordPress theme (Flexibility theme) but it had an awfully big ad at the top of the page and one at the bottom also.

I was wondering if i buy a theme, will that have ad's on it or not. I heard that you can pay to have the ad's removed but if i bought a theme, would i still have to pay to have the ad's removed.

99% of themes won't have their own ads in them. When you buy a theme, a couple will have ad spots that may (or may not) display there own "generic" ads until you put yours in. I would suggest you just choose another theme that doesn't display it's own ads.

Hi there, try to go to
appearance>editor> then hit on the right side header.php and footer.php and see if you can just remove the offending code for those ads.

Hi, Im new to using WordPress so ive never edited the php code before. What section exactly should i remove? I don't want to remove anything that causes damage.

  This theme will display these adds untill you replace them
  go to appearance - widgets - and place new widgets in the feature top and footer sectio (last two)
  or you can st the theme not to display these at all in the theme options page (under appearance)

I agree. You already bought the source code so you need not to pay additional for it to be removed. Just remove it as suggested here.
