No they don't. In fact, EZA has taken quite a stand against PLR as of late. However, that doesn't mean that your PLR articles are useless. For example, you could use them as research to write an article that will be accepted on EZA. Or, you can use them to brainstorm new ideas for content. Or, you can use them to create a newsletter series or an ebook.

If you have good PLR, you can do alot with them. The key word, though, is "good", because there is alot of junk PLR floating around out there.

Or you could run them through a good spinnner software (one that required human interaction to put the polish on the article) and, as I have, successfully submit them for both the backlinks and the traffic.

Yes you definitely need to rewrite the articles before submitting them to Ezine - I would recommend rewriting them before submitting to any directory

As Nicole said, you can do a lot with your PLR articles, but submitting them to article directories, especially EZA, isn't one of them.

One way to deal with this... read several related PLR articles, put them aside, and then write a NEW article based on the info you just got (make sure it combines some of the points in the different articles so it's not a close match contentwise either, and don't peek!)

That way, you'll probably come up with articles that will work. Just double check to make sure you didn't copy any sections of the PLR articles (or even paraphrased them too closely). Maybe also run it through copyscape if you want to be sure. And make sure it makes sense and is well-written, and follows all the other rules of EZA.

      Hope that helps.

I've never had any trouble with submitting rewritten articles, but then I don't use spinners either and when I rewrite an article it usually ends up completely different and not even recognizable to the original plr article.

They don't even like or allow articles that explain how to utilize plr.

I have stopped using EZA because of their strict rules with PLR site. There are other alternatives though, Hubpages and ArticleBase. I focus more on hubpages.

And yes, you need to rewrite your articles before submitting.
