Question on Link Share or Comission Junction: Do you sign up as a publisher advertiser?

If I am planning on selling physical product from my site. which one do I sign up under?

    Advertisers on CJ provide links to the CJ marketplace so Publishers (affiliates) can promote their products.

    From your post it is not clear what your intentions are working with CJ.

    Do you want to sign up so affilliates can also promote your product? Then you are an Advertiser (merchant). Do you want to promote other people's products? Then you are a Publisher, meaning you have a website and "publish" other peoples links and ads.

    They are very expensive. Startup costs will be at least $7,000.

    Have you looked into ShareASale? They are very well liked by the affiliate community, too.
