List Building Question

Hey Warriors:

Can anyone reccommend a good blog/site/product/guru who specializes in list building? This is an area I struggle with. How do you build a bigger list?

Thanks!

Best advice: just go out and learn everything you possibly can about listbuilding... from anyone who seems like they know something you don't. That's the best way to go about it.

I believe that Michael Rasmussen has a free course on listbuilding which is pretty comprehensive (opt-in is required, of course).

There are so many different ways to build a list, where do you want to start?

It's not really much good you following the top-notch guru of list building by videos if you're no good at making videos...

You need only 1 method to start with. Just 1.

Do you enjoy making videos? Writing? such as articles? blog post? emails?

Find a method that you enjoy doing, then find someone who is building their list that way.

Don't worry about people trying to tell you that
    "this way works for them"
"that way is great for building my list"
"the other way is fantastic and so easy"

    It might be...for them.
To build a list needs continuous effort. The easiest way for that effort to be continuous is if it is something you enjoy doing.

Once you have started building a list that way, when you are regularly getting people joining your list, then go on to other methods of building your list.

That's my thoughts anyway. Good luck to you.

Do a search on this forum and you will find tons of free info on listbuilding.

Do a google search for "free listbuilding pdf" and you will have some reading material to get your head around the concept.

Do you need to learn about the concept and the techniques or do need to learn about the technical implementation or both?

Just remember, don't over complicate it. List building is easy.

Michael Rasmussen is good because he teaches you and if you opt in to his list (which you have to do to get the info) you will see how HE markets as well. Just be ready for a barrage of emails though. He will overflow your inbox for awhile but if you weather the storm and learn from it you'll get a solid grasp of quality listbuilding.

Thanks guys! Definitely some great advice here. I just need to learn about the technical implementation. I am trying to sell some clickbank products, but I think the best way to do that is through a list. Also, I agree that "the money is in the list" so that is why I want to start building one! Thanks again.

It's not as complicated as it's made out to be...

Send targeted traffic to a targeted squeeze page.

Create a different squeeze page for each keyword. Same page, just vary the text to suit the targeted keyword.

Offer something of real value. Think outside the square, and give them what you are promising you'll give them... not a free offer and then a sales pitch as soon as they opt in.

The money is in the list... but the fortune is in creating a relationship with your list.
