Quickest way to get 500/month?

Depends on what your skills are.... You could run an article writing wso on here charging $1 per 100 words, write you would only need 50 people to give you a 500 word project and you have your $500. You can build sites then plug them with amazon and adsense (not really a fast route but imo a good one). Both of these would only cost around $20 to get started. Zero cash then your best bet is to write product review style articles and plug in your affiliate link, submit to top article sites. Do you know keyword research well? Another one is blogger (its free also) write many review style blogs and plug with adsense and amazon. You have many options but if I was sat down with no money and forced to make some online then thats what I would do.

Don't believe the hype advertisements.

Many fail to ever make money, many success stories talk about 6 mo to 2 years of fumbling around before making it.

If you can't fund a trial and error online education, you might be better off doing freelance work through a marketplace like elance, odesk, rentacoder, etc. No tech skills? writing articles or being a Virtual assistant are possibilitises

If you do not have any money, I think it would be article marketing.

1.Sign up with ClickBank, MaxBounty, Amazon

2. Find good products to promote

3. Write articles around those products (5 articles a day or more)

4. Submite to Ezine, Articlebase

5. wait for the money to come in (rinse and repeat)

There is a STEEP learning curve and I did have 3+ years of trial and error. The best way would be to do freelance work and earn as you learn. If you have some money to spend, try finding a good product and promote it via banner ads, PPC, or ezine advertising.

take MASSIVE ACTION and learn from your mistakes. then MAYBE within 12 months you can hit $15/day-ish numbers.

I had a friend in a similar situation. He didn't necessarily need to make money but was wanting to get in to IM and had no experience at all so he asked for some advice. I told him to find a niche he could target and then to setup a squeeze page in order to capture emails, recommend a product on his subscribers thank you page and then begin writing and submitting articles.

Here is what he did:

1 - Decided to target a specfic genre of video games (the first person shooter niche). This niche covers games in the Call of Duty series, Resistance series, Halo series and the Kill Zone series to name just a few.

2 - He quickly built a squeeze page. I'll be honest, his squeeze page is horrendous and he also knows this but he wanted to get something up and running as quick as possible. His offer is for free tips and strategies to beat the game Call of Duty: Black Ops

3 - On his subscriber thank you page (which is just as hideous as his squeeze page) he thanks them for subscribing and mentions that as a subscriber they will receive his strategies on a weekly basis. Then, he puts one additional text line stating that if they want to receive strategies now they should check this product out with a siple text link leading to a product in Clickbank that was created for Call of Duty: Black Ops.

4 - He started writing and submitting articles. He is actually a very good writer so his articles are great quality and target the first person shooter video game niche.

Now here is where it gets good. Even with a garbage squeeze page and a garbage subscriber thank you page he is still generating opt-ins for his weekly strategies and tips report and for every 15 subscribers that click the text link to the product on his subscriber thank you page 1 ends up purchasing the product.

These results have him thrilled and for a guy who knew nothing about IM marketing two weeks ago he is now amazed at the possibilities available to him.

Right now I'm working on refining his squeeze page and his subscriber thank you page in order to increase his conversions which will increase his profits.

Now, what does this have to do with making $500 in a month? Well, in my mind it means everything because my buddy is building a sizeable list in a hot niche and generating sales from those same subscribers. The key component is even though he built some really bad pages he did what many fail to do and that is he TOOK ACTION.

Making $500 a month is as simple as finding a product, building a squeeze page for it, promoting your squeeze page and then offering your opt-in subscribers a quick solution in addition to your free offer.

Remember Targeted Traffic + Offer + Conversions = Profit.
