Run the page through an html validator and make sure the code is clean then try again. Sometimes it can be something as simple as having the wrong doctype for the code your using.

hmmm, I'm still getting the error. Not in mozilla just IE. Haven't heard of a validator, I'll look into it. Thanks for the help

ran it through a validator and got quite a few errors, none of which pertained to this problem and none that have caused any problems. I took this html from a dreamweaver file I did a while ago and have since made some html changes by myself. Could that be a problem? Different kind of html or something?

Yes, sometimes when you make changes to the "HTML" they need to be updated by Macromedia, otherwise you might run into problems, maybe that's what's happening...Also, you might want to make sure you didn't change the directory of the page, that would cause problems also....Hope Diz help....

In IE7 I get an error about a swfobject not being defined on line 63.

I'm not into Flash very much, but maybe this page on Google Groups may help:

IE error message - swfobject is undefined - SWFObject | Google Groups

ah now I see I think.

Looks like you've commented out that line but maybe the // is confusing the IE browser.

Try just removing that entire Javascript bit at the bottom of the page and see if that works.

Make sure you backup the file first of course..... ;-)
