I've been considering using Linkvana's services.

My main concerns are how "black hat" is seems to be, and...

How effective is it?

Regards,
Matt

So I take it from the lack of responses that nobody here uses Linkvana? I'd test it myself but I don't want to do anything "black hat".

    Matt

Why "Black Hat"? What's black hat about posting 100 to 300 word article snippets on someones blog?

Does that mean you consider posting articles to Ezinearticles also black hat?

Technically, any attempt by a webmaster to inflate his ranking online using "paid" backlinks would be considered blackhat by google.

I use Linkvana but am very aware that at any moment, that all of those backlinks could disappear overnight if Google discovers the network.

As with anything, you should definitely use some common sense and don't bet the bank on any link campaign or site for backlinks.

        Dude,

even if the big G did discover one of their networks, there are many, and they are in no way connected.....

Also, your links are rotated throughout different networks.

        Its a pretty safe system.

I have seen more than one successful marketer using/promoting this product. So I would think that it would be worth a try, kinda of expensive but should give excellent results.

There is no such things as blackhat, and personally, I think all IM method are black hat unless you build authority blog!

Black hat or white hat just a term that someone will ban you easily or not. If your site looks nice and provide good information, "spam" the search engine for jump start traffic and build your own authority site is consider white hat... you are adding value to the search engine!

If you create crappy content that search engine and the user don't want, you won't get any long term traffic, even if you try to "spam" the search engine aggressively!

All SE promotion methods, in my view is spamming... it depends how you promote it, not the method itself that matters!
