Hi

does anyone use yahoo groups to build their list? I have just started one, and now am wondering how I get people to join? I won't bother inviting my friends and family, as they aren't interested in my topic, but how do I get people to join?

I use it exclusively. I have a list of over 6500 double optin subscribers for my piano lessons site. You can see the Group page at quiescencemusic : Pianoscapes Newsletter

You can click my link below to see how I configured the optin form for yahoogroups.

Many here will tell you to go with Aweber or some other autoresponder. I've been using YahooGroups for over 7 years now and the mail ALWAYS gets delivered and it's always free. What more could you want?
