Resell rights for physical products?

We've all seen master resell rights and private label rights for digital products like ebooks and such. But what about physical products?

If I created some sort of "how to" DVD (not the typical powerpoint presentation with a voiceover, but a real how to DVD with some sort of trainer or expert showing how to do something), would it be a profitable idea to sell resell rights to that product?

If so, how many "Master Rights" copies would you sell? And what kind of price range would you charge? I know that's a loaded question but let's say the how-to video had to do with a hobby and not making money?

Challenging project you are doing, congrats for getting it off the ground.

The price of the product would depend on the type of content, the niche, how hot the info is, and many other factors, etc

Resell right products can be sold for between 5 times of the price of the original price of the package, (and even more than 5 times). As a range it can be anything from $500 - $5000 (depending on how many dvds, content, etc)

For Master resell rights you could sell these for an even higher amount, as this is giving people to sell them on to others.

How many to give away? this is up to you... can be 20/50 etc, but im sure the others can give their input here.

Contact your affiliates (if you have some) and offer these offers to them, as they would be interesting.

I've bought and sold resale rights to physical products,
and most frequently paid $997 - $2997 for the rights
    I've bought.

I've also sold licenses to info products... semantics,
but sometimes it makes a difference.

I've see licenses sell for 10-20 times the retail price
of a product. It really depends upon demand for the
license and even the purpose that the license was
offered. For example, I've sold licenses inexpensively
because of backed sale or anticipated publicity.
