Help with new product: Which would you find more valuable?

We have two new products that are in development. Realistically, we can only focus on one at a time in order to get them to the standards we're after.

My question is, which do you think more people would be most interested in, both from a 'consumer' standpoint, and to promote as affiliates?

Both are - or will be - substantial 'courses' rather than single-tactic 'magic bullet' products.

One is on flipping, from 'low end' to high dollar; the other is on free traffic, specifically how & where to get it / increase it.

Any -constructive- feedback is appreciated.

I think the Traffic one will have a wider audience, but on the other hand a good flipping course would have far less competition, especially if it included a start to finish case study.

Thanks, that's close to what I've been assuming.

I would be more interested in the free traffic because I think more new marketers and even us veterans are looking for ways to get free traffic. I think this topic is easier to grasp for the majority of people as well.

Free traffic for sure, but that in itself isn't a good enough selling point. Its got to be a make money course, not a get traffic course. Traffic is the heart of any sucessful campaign, but it's not always the best selling point in itself

Both are hot topics in IM, though I think there's been more done on free traffic than domain flipping, which means you'll probably need to spend more effort to come up with a fresh angle on the free traffic one than the domain flipping one.

Thanks for that. One thing we're wrestling with is the 'fresh angle' idea. There are very few truly 'new' angles to getting traffic, and that is usually where the scammy products are.

What we're aiming for in that product is to provide a better understanding of how search & rankings work, along with a very in-depth compendium of traffic sources, and how to apply them best to the various business models i.e. affiliate marketing vs Adsense vs lead gen., etc.

I think I would also go with the free traffic course as being the potentially more popular.

I think that getting traffic is an immediate enough idea that more folks will be able to see themselves as buying it to learn something new. Whereas, the flipping course, while it might make the buyers more money is more of a long run idea. And because of that, might be a bit more difficult for lots of people to see themselves succeeding in.

          I agree---the free traffic course.
And I think you already have a great "angle" in that you're promoting it as a substantial course, and not a "magic bullet" product. Best of luck!

        Traffic by far IMHO.

Flipping would seem to me anyway, more of a specialty type part of IM.
Not as many people in it.

Everyone needs a refresher on traffic, and maybe something new

        And I'll tell you,
if you guy's do as good a job as with A100k, (I'm sure you will )

        I'm in.
