First sale with clickbank! help please

I also just noticed its status is CDR what does that mean? I copied the following from CB but i don't understand what it means... I have to make 5 sale before i can take out any money?

"ClickBank will withhold payment of any account balance until the following criteria is met:

Sales made with 5 or more different credit card numbers; and,
Sales made with two different payment methods (either Visa, MasterCard, PayPal or European Direct Debit(ELV)). Note: PayPal purchases do not count toward the minimum 5 different credit card numbers.
This requirement is in place to help prevent Affiliates from abusing the ClickBank Affiliate program by using their accounts for the sole purpose of fraudulently collecting rebates and/or discounts on their own purchases.

Once you have met the Customer Distribution Requirement, your account will begin issuing payments normally, in accordance with our Accounting Policy, beginning on the next payment issuing date."

To clarify, they pay every two weeks. Fill the pipeline and they flow in

They're never late (in my experience), though they hold out a reserve temporarily, in case of refunds.

Thats kind of a bummer lol i was pumped. I hope i can make 4 more sales then. It took me a long time to make that one sale. I hear the first sale is the hardest though.

The weird part is a made the one sale from an old site i haven't touch in about 3 months

Thats how it usually happens you try different things and all of a sudden one of them works, so now you just need to find out what you did and find a way to do it as many times as you can to get more sales.

Pay attention to those 2 different payment methods and 5 different credit cards lines....
Don't end up like me, $200 last year sitting in clickbank and decreasing each pay period as no sales were coming in...had to contact some buddies to help me out so I could get those different payment methods fulfilled and that check on the way! Now with regular sales all is well. And those days of paper checks are gone, too, as I have moved on to direct deposit. Sweet!

That kinda puts me under pressure then i only have 90 days to make those sales? or i start loosing what i made?

Congratulations! Interesting that it came from an old site. Keep going- the shotgun approach (multiple sites) can get some interesting results.
Oh yeah- BTW go ahead and give them your tax info, or you'll never get paid when the next 4 sales settle in.

Another quick question when i need 5 different sales do refunds count?

Like if someone bought it and refunded it ?

Because I have 2 sales but one looks like it was refunded.

I have 2 sales total.

They are for a rebill product one person paid with visa and and canceled 30 days later
The other person paid with paypal and hasn't cancelled.

So would that be considered 2 different sales? or just one?

Refunds dont count, if you make 5 sales and there is one refund you only have 4 sales. You only start losing money if you do not make any sales in a 90 day period and its like $1 per pay period unless they changed it.

Unfortunately, the answer is no. All money is returned to the customer, you and the merchant must return their portions of the sale as well.

clickbank has a payment thershold depending on your payment method...chrque has a payment minimum threshold of $100 i guess....
