New internet business and I could really use some good advice.

Ok very new here and it appears to be a lot of good people on here with good info. Anyway I been reading a lot of info and contemplating for about 3 years now.

Just for the record....yes 3 years and this is due mostly because I'm changing careers and finally making the move into internet marketing while at the same time life has been happening. The last few years hasn't been easy for me and trying to stay focused on learning as much as possible about something I knew virtually nothing about 3 years has been a long road for me but I've come a long way.

I have read and studied which seems like an endless amount of info and also the changing markets including Google, the way it's evaluating page ranks etc...

All this hasn't discouraged me to continue my goal to have an internet business and to incorporate my trade into this eventually but for now I need to break away and start doing something and put what I learned to work and start making some money.

Now with all that said I have questions about Chris Farrell and his membership site as to if anyone here has actually got a membership to his site and used his methods.

I did see that IM-REPORT CARD does list him #1 internet marketer and I couldn't find anywhere through Google & Bing search that has anything negative to say about him.

I watched his 26 videos and I thought they were excellent. I would appreciate any input on this so I can make an informed decision and not commit to something that may not work?

But it does seem promising.

I can't say I've been a part of his membership site, but if you want a system to follow to make money, you have a few options-

    1) Purchase a highly rated and respected WSO. These are usually a 1 time fee and WILL make you money if you follow it
    2) Pay $37 for the War Room and get more proven systems then your brain could handle (just pick one to follow though!)
    3) Surf around the Warrior Forum for a little while, find something that seems like it'd work, and DO IT.

I'm sure Chris's membership site is great, but its not necessarily the best way to go.

Ok I actually read the thread on that a little while ago and didn't add that to my post. Does it have a lot of info for newbies starting their first web business?

Chris Farrell's site is $37 a month not a 1 time fee. Are there any video tutorial's in the warrior forum?

Studying for 3 years is a long time and it can sometimes work against you in the form of information overload. Most new marketers today are looking for a 'sure' fire way to success. Knowledge is not power. It is only 'potential' power unless you actually use it. The best way to learn is by doing. You have to plunge in, learn and then apply. Most people are so afraid to fail that they take their time and often spend years 'trying' to figure this stuff out. The only way to succeed is to learn by trial and error. Ask any successful marketer and they will tell you the same.

If you are new and really are serious about finding success in the internet marketing and home business industries, here is my advice:

1- Find an opportunity that is a match for what you are searching for.
2- Find an mentor you like and trust
    3- Research the opportunity
4- Once you find an opportunity that meets your needs, get started
5- Attend all training and recorded calls and webinars
6- Apply what you learn and start marketing
7- Start off with just one marketing method at first and master it
8- Tweak your method until you get the results that you want
9- Keep doing more of what works
10- Don't quit until you succeed!

    Regarding Chris Farrel:
I am not familiar with him but this does not mean that he isn't a big player in the industry. The main thing here is that you like or resonate with him. If you like him and what he has to offer, get started. If not, keep looking.

Don't be afraid to fail. If you pick the right opportunity and stick it out, your success will be from going through all of the 'growing pains' or little failures (learning curve).

Yeah the 3 year bit was mostly part time while I was working full time.
My mother was diagnosed with cancer and I spent a lot time helping her with hospital & doctor appointments while keeping my own house in order.I would read when I could and there were times that I couldn't do much. But like I said "life" happens I need to keep moving forward.

Good insight and your right about too much info can be an overload and that has happened to me.
Trying to digest it all without actually going through trial & error is a problem that I do recognize. I really need to get things going and start the growing pains.

I really appreciate the input from everyone.

Whether it be 3 years or 3 days ... just do it! Everything will seem promising at first but don't let it fool you. Find a niche you're willing to take action on or already have experience with and go from there. The best is reading through these forums and experiencing others success and failure. What works and what doesn't.

IM is not a college degree. You have to be smart, business savvy and diligent in what you do. You just wasted a good opportunity to bank on your knowledge. Never do that again!!!

A good mentor to go to when you have questions or are discouraged can be a great help.
If you have done you research on Chris Farrel and feel like he could really help you I would say go for it. I do not know him personally but most people seem to do better with some experienced help.
I know I learned my offline trade by being around experience and through years of practice.

You already have enough reasons to trust this guy but you can 'suspend' buying his program and devote more time in doing those things on your desk for now.

I am saying this because you may have to dump all the ideas or experience you have gathered for the past three years just because one man thinks otherwise.

You can get back to him when you must have gotten enough IM confidence via IM earnings!

        All the best to you,
