Hello everyone,

Hope everyone is doing fine. I need your opinion about a matter. I need to know what should be the action plan taken by a person who is a newbie in internet MLM business.

I know there are many experienced and as well as successful internet business persons out there who actively participate in this forum. Hope someone will give me a very good action plan.

Best wishes to all,
Ehsan

MLM isn't my thing, but I will give you the same advice as the moms in my WAHM group.

IMHO, you need to be developing multiple streams of income that are related to your (MLM) biz.

You also need to be building a mailing list of people that are interested in your product, not your business opportunity.

Example - if you have a gourmet food business, do the following:
      • Create a blog about cooking/food
      • Build a mailing list of people who love cooking and new recipes.
      • Create a newsletter about cooking/easy food prep tips.
      • Create and market a report/guide/ebook about recipes/quick cooking tips/save $$$ on grocery bill/etc.
All of these steps will help create income streams, and you can use the lists to get more sales from your gourmet food biz.

For a nutrition MLM, do the same steps - just adapt the content. Offer a blog about nutrition and health/wellness, an info product about weight loss or healthy tips, etc.

Whatever your business, develop an entire marketing strategy around it - instead of the same old "Join my MLM" stuff.

I'd be inclined to build a business YOU OWN instead of building a network that an MLM company owns.

I'm not a huge fan of MLM schemes.

If you're going to participate in one at all I'd suggest you build your own list and your own business FIRST then consider if you want to promote an MLM to your list.

      Kindest regards,

If you want to market online...

      What I would do is...

Brand YOURSELF and NOT THE MLM Program!

For example, if you Google My Name

      PAVON DUNBAR

You would see I am all over Google...

And this is as a result of FREE advertising (because I don't have a lot of money anyway...that's why I am learning how to make money online...)

Remember that YOU are the "Mother of All Programs"...not the MLM program itself.

Brand yourself to establish credibility and you'll do fine in whatever program you're in...

Hope this helps you...email me at pavondunbar@gmail.com or PM me here if you need help.

I want to help as many people as possible...that's why I'm here.

All marketing is MLM so don't get road blocked by the negative comments that you will get throughout your MLM career...

People in MLM's get bashed just as much as car salesmen and real estate agents... it just comes with the territory. But, don't let that discourage you.

Remember... you are in this game to make money-nothing more.

Look for a solid company that has a good business model and killer pay plan... then join.

After that - start marketing... Use video to document each phase of your growth...

When you do your videos don't get caught up trying to convince everyone that you are a rich guy and that you can show them how to get rich online...

Just be honest... If you are inexperienced be honest about it

But, when you learn new things share that info with your audience in your videos.

I could go on and on... If you want me to layout a game plan for you shoot me a P.M.

I can give you all the info that you will ever need to get started with whatever MLM you get into.

The main goal is to get TRAFFIC to your sale's page.
So the question is how to get traffic to that page?

You can use Traffic-exchange sites (like this one: GET REAL Traffic to YOUR site! - Powered by CO.CC)
You can also use Safelists , or if you have money you can use: Solo-ads and PPC.

if you need more ideas or sites , PM me.

    Hi Ehsan,

If you want an action plan, I'll let you have mine...
It's up to you if you want to use it - it's been
working fine for me so far.

    1. Set up a squeeze page
    2. Set up a sales page (either your product or an
    affiliate link sales page)
    3. Set up your email autoresponder to regularly
    send out emails

That's all you need for your marketing system.
Once it's up, send people to it using whatever
means you know of such as article marketing,
    blogging, PPC, paid methods, advertising,
    ezine solo ads, etc.

The internet world is your oyster.

The first thing I would do is educate myself about mlm. Then I would create a plan to sponsor and Market my mlm products to prospects. I would create a simple duplicatable system that can be implemented immediately by my recruits.

Here we go again with MLM...

I've been involved in a quite a few MLM programs over the years,
most of which were shut down by the Feds. Feds tend to target
MLM programs even when they are legit, so be careful what MLM
    you chose to promote.

The problem I've found with most MLM programs is that they target
newbies & claim you will make tons of $$$ without any effort on your
part. They tend to push spillover from your upline & claim that you
will make money from them even w/o you selling anything.

That simply is NOT true. Fact is, you cannot make money if you do
NOT do anything. You have to sell something. Which means you have
to get leads and market to them. Many MLMs will help you with this
process (that's what your upline is for - they should be training you),
however, in many cases the help they provide comes in the form of
selling you leads, sales materials and other products and services
from the same MLM company you are promoting.

This is great for the MLM company owners, but not so great for
you when you are first starting out.

Fact is, it takes a LOT of time and energy to make a living in
MLM. So when you see an MLM telling you that you'll make money
hand over fist just by signing up, run away. It's NOT going to
happen. If you aren't willing to put in the time and effort it
takes to promote an MLM, you aren't going to make any money with
    it PERIOD.

    Good Luck!

    Never dabbled.

But the web really does provide residual income from assets.

    Just like real estate ownership.

And IMO, it's a hell of a lot easier than MLM.

Not to mention that "internet publisher" sounds a whole lot cooler at cocktail parties than "I have my own business - I should really tell you about it sometime..."

    I got 2 options for you;

    Option A:
Lose $1500 by joining the MLM business that I joined and get a very low quality product that you can get it for bargain at other place.

    Or

    Option B:
Spend about $100 to start your IM business and get good mentors here in WF to guide, teach and lead you to leverage your profit.

So which one do you prefer??

The best advice I can give you having been full-time in the industry for 6 years is find the most successful person in your upline who has made a lot of money. Earn his / her time and see if they will coach or mentor you. There's no one response that's going to help you succeed in MLM. It's a process and a "game" you must learn like anything else out there. 99.9% of the time it will only come out successfully if you have someone who's already been successful working with you.

    That's the bottom line....

Everyone is free to express their opinions but give the guy some credit.

It's obvious most people don't like network marketing on this forum, but to each their own. Stating to someone "get out now!" is not the right course of action or encouragement imo.

I could sit here and tell a lot of you to quit providing people with your damn cheesy info products that with a little research these people can find for FREE on the internet, but I won't, because I respect one's personal interests and opportunity.

It's a fact most don't make money with MLM but it's also a fact that most don't make money with any online activities ...

Now I'll throw my 2 cents on the fire to help this fella out...

First, brand yourself is correct. I suggest you go grab a copy of Magnetic Sponsoring by Mike Dillard and learn more about what a funded proposal is.

Second, when focusing on marketing for your business, sell yourself and provide Great content to your targeted audience. Don't give them some bullshit sales pitch and certainly don't sell them on your company's products... Sell them on what they're really after "More Money, Time, Freedom"

Videos, articles and blogging is a great way to drive traffic and build up relationship with your leads. Keep it simple and just do something every day. Realistically in a few months you can build up a 2-4k monthly income with only a few hours work per day.

I agree with Kyle L. Hannah. Even the US Government is a pyramid, but who's checking and who is making the money there?

Corporations are a pyramid, and who makes the big money there?

The best thing you can get out of MLM is developing skills of talking to people, doing presentations, and developing communications skills in general. Use the internet to present your business without you actually being there, (i.e. lead capture, etc)

Best advice is to not try to drag someone across the finish line. The best people will not need your help, and the people that will give you the most misery will be ones that need all your help. they will quit anyway, so don't spend your time trying to force them to be winners.

When all else fails, just be an affiliate marketer or develop your own products so you don't have to worry about "recruiting" someone. Lastly, plan on even the best company you join to be out of business before you make serious money.
