video marketing question (re: at-work web filters)...

I market to a lot of local gov't people (cities + counties).

Obviously they would be viewing the vids I might create, at work.

Does anyone have info on waht %'s of these workers will be able to watch the vids at work + how many will NOT be able to view them because of web filters.

Is there any way to allow them to view videos that will bypass their filters?
(no, nothing porn related)

Please advise.

PS: I'd ask them myself, but I think many of them do not even know the answer themselves -- they may never have even tried to view videos at work and my list is 2,500 people across US.

    This really is a function of where you host the video. I suggest do NOT use YouTube. Use amazon s3 and use a video player on your site such as flow player. Then nothing will be blocked.

    I spent years at a large Corp. YouTube was blocked despite me needing it for research of markets. I just got an exclusion from the rule but most people don't.

    OK, I can comment on this, since I don't live in the USA...

    And as a taxpayer are you happy they watch videos at work? INstead of doing what they are paid for?

    If I was "the government" I'd kick them out in a minute... but then the crazy unions would jump in defending them, causing mayhem (think Wisconsin), LOL

    Do you see now what a big chaos your videos can cause?
