What Makes a True Marketer?

Hey,

My names William Tha Great and I am here from Houston, Texas.

Marketing is growing rapidly. A million years ago blogs used to be all about the content on them, but today marketing plays a major roll in the success of the blog. So, my question to you guys is what makes a true marketer?

I would love to hear your thoughts on this matter.

Best Wishes,
William Veasley

Sorry I didn't understand your question

I understand this part so I will respond:

So my question to you guys today is what makes a true marketer?
According to the dictionary, a marketer is "someone who promotes or exchanges goods or services for money".

    So there you go

IMO a true marketer is someone who understands the basic-core concept of marketing.

    1. Find a market.
    2. Discover their likes, interests or a problem they are having.
    3. Offer a solution to their problem or for what they are interested in.

    Wash. Rinse. Scale-Up!

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

      Hey William,

What you actually mean is that there should be more marketing aspect of online concerns such as blogs.

Your observation is quite good because many people make the mistake of not going with the changes in the IM industry.

You may be making money today because your blog or site is well optimized, known, and had been there for some time but there is every reason to believe that you may be leaving so much monies on the table if you refuse to take your business to places where interested people would see it more.

Apart from providing quality content in ones blog, the next best thing is trying to make such blog go viral.

There are many free resources one can get hold of today for easy and targeted traffic.

Honestly, in the past I have tried many free tools to help me build targeted traffic, but they all wasted my time and gave me nothing more than one big headache!

Couldn't have said it better myself. Content first, monetize second.

Is it now? I'd say things are more or less the same, just growing along with the population.

That can be true; but at the end of the day they are still about the content on them (contrary to what you may have read elsewhere, undoubtedly from one of those "systems").

A marketer is someone who markets. Didn't know that they were "true" or "fake." Now some may be liars, and they may be bad at it. They are still marketers.

A good marketer identifies what people want and then gives it to them.

A true marketer knows their niche or market and knows how to provide quality content, products, or services to a targeted audience that is ready to invest in what the marketer has to offer.

Thanks! I know that I need to do more research about what I am trying to accomplish. Hopefully, it will save me a lot of time and headache when I start marketing my products.
