Is this the final nail in the Coffin for Flash ?

Looks like flash is going to start slowly fading away as Adobe has recently launched a new application called Wallaby which converts flash to html.

Not sure if they are going to stop using flash in its entirety, but this looks like a massive shift in dynamics for Adobe.

I think it is about time that people move away from Flash.

Everybody is moving to smaller, more energy-saving devices. But the problem is that they have fewer computing power, too.

Now all the browsers are optimizing their JavaScript Engines but if I load up a game like Farmville which is made in Flash and if there are a lot of items on the screen it slows down my fast home computer to a crawl (and I can play modern computer games with full details!).

So they should really start porting all that stuff to something the devices can be optimized for and I don't think that Adobe is ever going to optimize Flash for all the devices available.

Flash is going to be around for a while. People have been talking about its demise since it pretty much was released.

More and more people are moving away from flash, but there are still some that want a flash site. I don't think flash is going to stay around, I think it will slowly die out in the next 3-4 years.
