What platform do you use for your website? I'm sure wordpress is one, any others? Thanks.

    Wordpress is the best IMO.

However there are numerous free blogging options.
Just click Fantastico in your CPanel and have a look.

Personally, I hate too much choice.

Go with Wordpress because of the plugins.
From All in One SEO to
auto-conversion of keywords into affiliate links...

You can get a plugin to do anything in wordpress.

This is crucial to a marketer like yourself.

Dont invest time in a lightweight solution only to have to uproot all your hard work to migrate to wordpress later.

    Cheers!

  • I use Rapid Action Profits almost exclusively to sell PLR.

Wordpress is a great platform for creating sites, but it doesn't handle payments and deliveries out of the box (there are plugins you can use, but this adds an extra level of complexity).

I like the affiliate options with RAP too, which helps get the PLR available to a wider audience.

Thanks. I did buy the Profits Theme for Wordpress awhile back. Will have to fidget with it as it was a little over my head.

I use Wordpress - it is easy and you can get a nice looking site with it. I think most of the PLR sellers that I know use Wordpress.

I use 2checkout and DLguard for payment and download security and they all integrate well together.

I dont think you can find any better platform for your PLR business other than wordpress. Everything you will need can be found as a plug-in, so why stress out in looking for an alternative right?

Wordpress works great. Using it along with DLGuard for delivery makes running my PLR business simple.

    DLGuard also protects your downloads.

I now use Joomla for my PLR storefront but I used to use nothing but WP for years (and years) with WP Shopping Cart, or direct through e-junkie by integrating shopping cart checkout and update links in the nav bar. (Hack job, but it worked).

I love WP because it's so darn easy, but I felt it was really limiting for what I wanted to do. Joomla, while it had a bit more (..okay, a lot more) of a learning curve than WP, it's just incredibly powerful, and you can use 100% free modules that handle everything from shopping cart checkout, to forums, help desks, etc. Everything integrates very easily.. In fact, I set up my first PLR store (of this year), using Joomla in less than 4 hours.

If it's a PLR membership site, I use a combination of WP+amember, or amember with custom HTML/css and php includes (so I can update the navigation menus, headers, footers, etc all at once). WP is great for a CMS inside of a members center since you can drip feed content, etc.
