How much should I sell these domain names for to a CEO?

Hello,

I purchased a few domain names recently (same keyword .com, .net, .org) for a keyword that on the Google keyword search tool said 65,000 [exact] searches. This was about a week ago.

The keyword is two generic words that happen to be the name of a big company that gets 1,000,000 [exact] searches per month, and my domain are the company name plus a simple word related to the company.

I got an email 15 hours ago from the CEO of what looks like a pretty large company. He said they are interested in purchasing the .org domain (must have seen on sedo, I'm not sure if he also knows i have .com and .net). He asked that I respond with my desired price and also any other domains I have for sale.

Anyways, my question is...How much do you think I should ask for for this domain name and the rest of my domain names? I also have some other similar ones that aren't quite as good that I am going to include.

It seems they probably have quite a bit of money so I'd like to if anything ask too much and have them negotiate. As a note, they are in Europe so their dollar is stronger.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Google keyword tool is unreliable at best. It's free and you get what you pay for

Legally iirc if its a legal or trade name, they can get the courts involved and reclaim their domain.

hey it was actually a mistake I made I just realized. The keyword does get [65,000] per month. It's just instead of "word word word" which only gets 300, it is "wordword word".

What do you mean by by "Legal iirc"? I don't think it's a trade name, etc. because the words are so generic. They are equivalent to "well done", so I don't think they can claim the words just because they named their company after them. And besides, it isn't the company trying to buy them from me.

Can you suggest a better keyword tool for me to use?

    thanks.

I decided to ask him how much he would like to pay for it. If he responds, this is obviously an advantage to me. Any input would be much appreciated, thanks.

You can acquire for appraisement for your domain names in some famous domain service sites. And ask a domain broker for help.

If they are an international corporation, they can just seize it away from you from court.

Generic doesn't mean it cannot be trademarked, BestBuy is also two generic names. But trademarked.

    Good luck to you!

    P.S I am not a lawyer.

$1,000,000 a piece. Then you will be the CEO.

      Good luck.
