Noobie's question about forum features

Dear all, can you please explain me what "Thanks" are intended for? Is it just a counter of one's status and reputation or it has some hidden meaning (like availability of some tasty WSO to its holder or anything like that)?

And is it really important to get to the War Room? Do I really need it (assuming that I'm a noob)?

    The "thanks" button is simply for when you want to thank someone for their post or something they shared, etc. Unfortunately their is no prize for most thanks, lol. Its simply a "counter".

    As for the question about the War Room, Yes! Yes! Yes!

    You absolutely need to become a member, especially if your a newbie! You will be amazed at all the goodies in there along with all the information...
