Best Wordpress Plugins For Content Creation and/or autoblogging?

I searched for this but came up dry, surprisingly. Found generic advice on wordpress plugins, found "plugin-profit" stuff, but nothing on content producing plugins.

What are the best wordpress plugins for content creation?

I'm not interested in wordpress plugins for seo, or ones that help with share buttons, or making things prettier,

I want to know (if you don't mind) what are your favorite plugins for creating content.

Paid or free, doesn't matter.

I know many of you are fond of something called caffeinated content.

Many of you use wp-omatic to have rss feeds automagically post content to your sites.

But is that it? Best Wordpress Plugins For Content Creation and/or autoblogging?

  • ps. I'll also add, I don't want to write the content i want it to be automatically created for me.

    thanks again.

    WP-O-Matic is the gold standard.

There's also FeedWordPress which is pretty good.

I'll add that I use Caffeinated Content and love it.

I tried WP-O-Matic and couldn't get it to work correctly on my server.
I've read posts from other people who've had the same problem. I suggest trying out WP-O-Matic first before moving onto a paid solution.

  • thanks all, crazy not much else besides wp-omatic and similar and caffeinated content

I actually sat down this evening and loaded up a new install of wordpress, then thought

I want to fill this thing with content, quickly, what could I use, and other than those 2 I drew a blank

I wanted to spend time on promotion only, not content creation.

oh well, if there's nothing other than those 2 plugins seems like a good opportunity for someone to make something

Caffinate content gets my vote. It can draw from You Tube, Yahoo Answers, an article site or your own .txt files. Plus it is very customizable, allowing youo to markov some output too if you like. There is normally a wso/classified going that will get you a large chunk off the main purchase price.

    Hi folks,

Just building my first blog using Caffeinated Content. I have a domain specifically targeted to a particular niche and have a question.

I notice on some blogs using Caffeinated Content that after every Yahoo answer on their blogs they have an affiliate link to the particular product they are targeting and am wondering how this is done automatically.

My main keyword for my blog is reflected in my domain name but is not exactly the same as the affiliate product I wish to target, so again I am wondering how to specifically target the affiliate product.

There may be other ways to target my affiliate product other than what others are doing, no doubt, so any suggestions would be appreciated

Content Website Builder looks great and seems to be widely used. It also doesn't require you use Wordpress. If anyone has used it, I'd love to hear about it. Currently has a $30 off coupon.

I love CWB because it is soooo easy to use. It is a bit trial and error with keywords, but it is awesome.

I've tried to ask Ali, about being able to use our own templates but he must be very busy. When I last heard from him, he was incorporating rss feeds and clickbank products.

I'd also like to have more control on the adsense blocks. On one of the templates, there was only one skyscraper and blank space on the other side, so it was begging the question "why?".

Other than that it is great and I will use it with a mixture of WP thrown in with other sites.

      check out the kb-linker plugin

WordPress › KB Linker WordPress Plugins

they have paid versions with tracking and stuff but that works great for me (good for internal linking also)

you basically set certain keywords to change to affiliate links and the plugin does it automagically

@all - thanks for the other suggestions.

CC for several reasons, i like the way how it embeds videos, as well as the final result looking GREAT for articles or yahoo answers scraped content.

I tried almost all autoblogger plugins, some eg. scrape youtube but dont put the videos on..some just pull a few lines of text, etc..

CC certainly has some quirks, i would still like a plugin which goes out in "real time" every day....but as for now i prefer CC for overall results.

cc doesn't get the content for you everyday?

also, why not just use wp-omatic and skip the ccontent, just use the rss feed from yahoo answers and others, it would update every day then without you touching it :-)

CC doesn't scour for new content everyday. When you initially set it up you tell it how many articles/videos/whatever you want it to gather from whatever sources you want, it retrieves them, loads them into a cue and posts them at random intervals.

The software doesn't search for content everyday.

For example, I currently have ~300 articles cued up for the next year or so.

Personally, I couldn't get WP-O-Matic to work correctly on my server and am at the point where it isn't worth it to me to spend an inordinate amount of time to tweak things to get them to work. It was a better use of my time and money to find a paid solution that worked right out of the box.

Your situation/skill set/availability of free time may dictate a different route.

The only thing I haven't been happy with regarding CC is the lack of support response. I emailed support approximately 5 days ago with a question and haven't heard back from them yet. I understand it's the holidays, but a simple autoreply could have alleviated my concern (if, in fact, the holidays are the cause for the dealy -- maybe they just provide sub-par support).

Caffeinated content gets my vote because of the flexibility. Lots of times I will use it, then go in and tweak or add to a post. So you get content that is uniquely your own. But CC just speeds things up big time. Use it with some original content, and some rss feeds and you've got a unique site that search engines will love. then just build links like crazy and you've got a nice VRE asset.
