WordPress Can't Get a Post to Post to Home

Hello , I've just installed wordpress with my Theme from Elegant Thems. for some reason I can't get the post to get on the Home , they always go into my Pages or catogries? Anyone know how to post to Home?

    I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to do.

    But it sounds like you want to have a "static" page a your home page. (It's always the same page that shows to visitors).

    If that's right you do that with a PAGE by setting that up in the setting section of Wordpress.

    If you ALSO want a Blog you have to set up another page (and optionally put that page into the NAV menu) for visitors to go to the blog.

    Check out the Wordpress documentation for specific how-to's for this.

      you are correct it can be done with setting but i have elegant themes with me they give other setting option which are included with theme itself..so better to check theme setting option .

    you need to post an image into that first post. open up the hello world image and add an image!
