Does butnews.com have any value?How much should I want if anybody like to buy it?
What kind of site will be better on it?

How much of a market is their for people who want new sty's for their pigs?

I think the only value for the site is if you make it a news site

I know that sounds too silly for words so I shouldn't have even said it

But with names like fiverr, twitter, and google Newsty might have a certain attraction......

I am of the opmion that it may have considerable value, a few months back I sold newsonline247.com for $100. With news sites being ever popular I do think you could get a serious offer. Also considering the fact that It is a 6 character dot com which I believe is becoming harder and harder to find.

Why not take a look at sedo.com many many domians have sold on there for tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars. You just never know

Please I am not saying this is a high end domain name I just think It COULD have value for the right buyer- This is all just opinion though, and should Gene Pimitell (sorry about the spelling) or subuccrial give you some thoughts, those I would take seriously as they have vast domain flipping experience

I would try to build a news site on it and aim for Google news approval

There are a couple of warrior who have the tools for you to do this. Look out for sbuccariel and E Brian Rose.

If you don't have the time or budget (300-1000$) to get that done I would turn to someone providing a news type template and an autoblogg plugin (40$-250$)

Easiest is to park at SEDO and wait for someone to show interest

A quick look in Google for keyword "TY" shows some possibilities

Considering all of the above , MY personal choice would be to try and aim for an approved Google news site based around the theme "Welsh property news"

I don't really see anything there until you actually ask for some money, there are literally thousands of 6 letter .com domains dropping all the time and a lot of them make more sense.

They two letters at the end stuck there like roadkill don't do the domain any favours, had it been NewsUK.com or NewsUS.com then you may have had something, what you have just looks awkward.

Just approach different news outlets and see what they offer you, you are not obliged to take the first offer but you should know that it is not something that someone will approach you for specifically to give you millions lol

What you do have in your favour though is that it is very easy to pronounce and tell people what it is, and there are a lot of the alternatives (with 2 letters shoved at the end) already gone.

Cordial thanks all of you for all the valuable suggestions and I decided that I will soon build a google news site with the help of our friend-sbucciarel
I have another domain-www.greatgen.com (gen=news),this may also be used as a google news site.
I am now busy with some offline works,I will contact sbucciarel just after I am free from offline work load.

It could gain a little value if you...

Turned it into a political satire site and re-fashioned Newt Gingrich's entire image.

Maybe create an interactive flash or html 5 game where people could dress him up and do his hair in different styles.

Something like that would at least give "newtsy" some identifiable meaning :-)

Other than that I'd appraise its current value at $10. The price of registration. That is unless you already have traffic and earnings? Then it could be appraised based on your current traffic and earnings. The name itself has no value.

Sorry, i dont think it has any value. Maybe if it would be established and lots of backlinks..but the name is worthless. Its a non-word...i could probably run a generator and make/purchase all combinations of newsXY.com from newsAA.com up to newsZZ.com and sell not a single one of them. My $0.02
