Now, I haven't visited this forum in a LONG while but I absolutely love it. If it weren't for Allen's "Magic Words' report back in 2002 I don't know if I would have been so successful. He was my first mentor and his success was my inspiration. thank you!

In 2002 there was no copywriting section here. I had to learn it the hard way. Carlton's Kick Ass Copywriting Course. Halbert's newsletter's archives (RIP). Jay Abraham. Dan Kennedy. And of course, Bencivenga and Makepeace in the more recent years...

I wrote a few letters, I've done A LOT of split tests and a lot of mistakes. But I also had a few successes and my publishing & lead generation business did 3.5M in 2006. We actually lost money in 2007 and now we've made a big comeback in 2008 but this is a different story.

Anyway, what I've learned over the years is that there's a lot of unnecessary crap and mystery surrounding copywriting.

I've made this small video for you guys that summarizes my experience and shows you what copywriting for the web is all about. You'll see why the sales letter is dead and why you don't need to be a great copywriter to get a 2% conversion rate... and I'll share with you the simple 5 step process I've developed for doing so.
