Photo Album for Website Question

I truly appreciate the good advice I have received from some of you for my website -- The Holey Griddle - Tame the flame .. And my site developer has made some of the recommended changes for me. Now I want to add some customer feedback photos and don’t want to bother my site developer every time a customer sends me one.

I think I would like to have a photo album put on my website that I can update myself very easily. I have saved a few photos on Photobucket over the years to post on forums. However I don’t know what other capabilities Photobucket has. Also, I know there are a few other similar sites out there, such as Snapfish, etc. However, I don’t know what features they have either.

Can anyone recommend one of these sites so that I could have my site developer adapt it to my website? If I had the ability to put a caption under it as well that would be great also.

Thanks again!

    Have you looked at Flickr?

Also, is your site a WP theme? If so, there are some plug-ins you can use to create photo galleries, allowing you to simply upload your images to your own site.

If WP means Word Press then no it is not. I really don't know anything about website design yet, but am trying to learn. But as I understand it this site was created using HTML or whatever. Again, I'm kind of ignorant in that area.

I have barely glanced at Flickr. Since this post I stumbled onto Picasa by Google. However I haven't explored it yet either.

What I am really looking for is a great looking photo album that my site could link to where I could upload my photos and my customer's photos. I just don't want to have to bother my site developer for every single photo I want to put on it.

EDIT: I just did some searching and it seems that just maybe both Flickr and Picasa prohibit commercial use.

As far as I know, flickr is one of the best site which provides a very good tool for photo albums. So i think you should go through that at least once. You will definitely satisfied with that.

Your web designer can install a free module to your html or joomla or wp or whatever type of site you have to give you a portfolio that you can upload and maintain yourself. If he can't, then I get a new web designer.
