So I have nothing in Paypal, and I am looking to buy a year long domain and a year of hosting for $75 total.

Is there any method that can get me this money by tomorrow? It has to be in paypal.

Thanks for the help, sorta desperate lol.

Do you have any skills that you may be able to offer such as Writing, Graphics, Website Design, Wordpress Setup, Virtual Assisting, Internet Promotion, SEO, etc? Raising $75 should be fairly easy if you have a specific skill or set of skills to offer.

Have you made any prior contacts or done any business with anybody specific since you have been online? You may be able to contact them and offer a one-time offer, make sure it is a great value, and over-deliver.

Do you have anybody you can borrow the money from? Family? Friends? Many can send you a PayPal payment in a matter of minutes.

A years domain registration and hosting for $75, are you sure you have got that right?

If it is a single domain and you won't have all that much on it you will do far better paying someone a couple of dollars a month to put you on their server, that cuts the costs in half straight away...

^ If you know anyway to do it cheaper, I'm all ears.

How would I go about doing that, and is it safe?

You can get hostgator by the month for about $7 or so and register a domain for $10.

More to the point - you don't go shopping and then try to find money. You put some money together and then you go shopping. You are doing it backwards and that just leads to stress.

Go fiverr or somewhere and do some work and earn the money - then get the domain and hosting.

Hosting companies like Hostgator sell special deals called reseller hosting, they know that many sites are tiny so they sell someone like me (not me) a package for $20 for 10gb and then I take that and split it into 100 parts for example.

I then sell you a part of the hosting for a couple of dollars...

And yes, it is safe as far as I know

Posting somewhere on the forum if anyone has reseller hosting you can do will probably bring in a few offers and then you can ask questions at your leisure with people who know far more

The average price though is about a couple of dollars a month

Alright, will I have enough space if I plan to put on a template, text, photos, and videos?

Also, do I get the standard custom email accounts and such?

You should have enough room for a small site like that, depending on how many videos you actually put on it...

You would likely have to negotiate anything like extra emails and such from anyone who offers to host you

Kay does bring up a great point though, I wouldn't worry about it until you get some money together, sometimes you just have to let good domains go and God knows, I have missed some truly phenomenal ones in my time lol

        • You can add cash to your PayPal account in minutes by buying a Green Dot card, sold at Walgreens, Radio Shack and a bunch of other places. There's a $4.95 fee.

You said you didn't have it in PayPal. You didn't say you didn't have the money.

Furthermore, if you need the money in Paypal by tomorrow, unless you already have a product of your own you're selling on the internet or have a list that you can promote an instant commission product to, it's going to be kind of hard to generate a liquid $75 in your Paypal so quickly. Getting that money in your Paypal on demand within 24 hours via online methods is going to be tough, and you're much better served offline - either get a loan from someone, or perhaps see if you can run errands or perform a service for someone, like mow the lawn, wash cars, anything where you're paid cash on the spot. You'd then load the money via Green Dot (as described) or via your checking account, if you have one that's linked to your Paypal.

I would try to provide services for other people. You could also sell something on ebay or craigslist fast if you need to.

You should invest in emus. I hear they lay lots of eggs and are always in demand. I'm not sure that will put $75 in your PayPal account by tomorrow, but it is solid advice.

dude, you don't need paypal to get a domain and hosting. just use a credit/debit card..

if ur broke and relying on IM as your out.. get a job. you kind of need some $ to make it unless you want to waste a lot of time. not saying that's it.. but just fyi.

Do you have a blog or something you can put a PayPal donation button on? I don't know if it will get you $75 by tomorrow but it has trickled in some cash on a couple of my free blogs……..just an idea.

  • Hostgator is expensive.

Go to a site like Web Hosting Services and Free Domain by SiteGround

You can get set up for 1 year's hosting plus domain for about $60.
