Urgent help needed with PayPal

Hi Folks,
we have a client who wants to go ahead with a project and pay. He is a bit older and can't seem to understand how to use the PayPal link sent by email. He says he wants to pay us by phone.
We don't work with checks, does anyone know how we could do this over the phone?
Virtual Terminal is not an option since we need to take care of this within 24 hours and it takes much longer to activate this service with PayPal.

    Perhaps you could walk him through the PayPal link process when you talk to him over the phone. Just let him know that you understand it seems tricky at first but it's really simple and that you'd be happy to walk him through it over the phone. Let him know he can use his credit card or debit card and doesn't need to set up a PayPal account.

    Your client could always pop to a postal office and get a money order? Its more hassle, but for a one off? It could be an option.

        To be perfectly honest.. I don't know. I was just thinking out loud :confused:

    What I did for some of my older clients is the following:

    I first took screen shots of the entire process from clicking on the link to entering the details etc.

    I then emailed them the screenshots in a pdf and now I use that for when I get a client that doesnt understand how to do the process.

    If you dont already have a screen capture program get snagit. They have a free trial.
