How To Create An Audio Interview With An Expert

Hi Everyone

I just though i would share everything i know on how to get an interview with an expert in any niche, so wheather you are a newbie or advanced this will work for you as i have tried this so many times and it works every time.Also this is a great way to create a product from scratch in just a few hours with zero experience.

I will lay it out step by step to help you.

Step 1- Know what niche you want to go into, and try and be specific.

Step 2 - find experts in your niche based on your chosen keywords.go to clickbank thats a great resource tool for experts, locate experts via blogs, forums are also a great place to look, search on first page of google and see if their are any websites of authority in your niche.

Step 3 one you have found these experts write down at least 20 names and contact details.

Step 4-contact all 20. I write the following in your emails to them, this will press their hot buttons and get them to say yes.

Here is the email template i use, try and use the basis of it but put your own spin on it and make it your own email.

hi my name is (your name) and i am a (your profession). I would like to propose to interview you on the topic (make it specific ) and turn that interview into an information product.

I estimate in the next 6 months to sell X Number of copies of this interview and will guranteed to be distibuted widely.This will excellent free publicity and exposure for you and i would love it if you can promote one of more of your own products on the interview.

Plus i will give you equal ownership rights to the interview and you sell it, give it away to your customers and subscribers, put it on your membership site, basically do what you want with it and you get to keep 100% of the profits. I hope you agree this is a fantastic opportunity that you benefit from fully and at no risk to you Thanks again (your name)


Thats the e mail i have used and have got tremendous responses.I have used this is the modelling niche, internet marketing and dating niche and it works.This will work for any niche.Realistically out of 20 emails you will get 5 to say yes.

Step 5- record the audio with expert with pamela for skype its like $20 and very good and get a snowball mic from amazon.

Step 6- once your audio is done, then edit the audio using audacity which is free

Step 6-upload audio to amazon s3, which is the best online file storage and you can get your web link from them.Thats it.

    Thanks for the tips.
    RE: #5.... Also be sure to use a pop filter with the mic. You don't want those annoying "poppy" p's coming through! If you're going through all that work to set up the interview, you want the finished product to sound as clean as possible.

    One more thing.

    If you want this audio to sound professional,
    a nice intro and outro music would do wonders.

    Trust me, the listener gets hooked only if he likes
    the first few seconds of the interview. So, it should
    be the best you can do.
    And the user WILL come back for more, if you leave
    a good impression while leaving.

    Consider adding music in between the interview as
    well, wherever it suits.

    With a little coaxing and luck you can also create a higher priced product by getting the expert to agree to be on video! You can easily do this with Skype or something similar. Your audio product can be set at one price and your video version could be set at a higher price. To go one step further, you could also sell, an even lower priced transcript version. You can make the higher priced audio and video versions more desirable by including a few bonuses as you get into the higher priced product versions. As you can see by this example by getting a video interview, you can squeeze the most amount of money out of it and get 3 products and bonus levels out of one project.

    My #1 tip:

    GET. A. GOOD. MICROPHONE.

    I have the Rode Podcaster and it's freaking AWESOME. The difference is amazing from my old Logitech and it's USB. It has an internal pop filter (but I still use an external pop filter) and processes everything internally so it's truly "plug and play."

    A good mic makes all the difference in the world.
