Must Have Wordpress Plugins?

Ok so I know I need a sitemap plugin, nofollow plugin and even a way to cloak my affiliate links.

What are some other must have wordpress plugins that you have noticed have made a difference. Basically I just have some content sites and I want to make them the best they can be.

What about the plugins that allow users to submit your info to social sites? Im just curious as to what some warriors here consider a must have plugin for a wordpress site.

All-in-One SEO or its cousin, Platinum SEO, is essential.

WP-Backup to do automated backups is also important.

You'll want to activate Akismet, which is installed with WordPress, to prevent comment spamming.

That's all I install by default. After that, it's up to what I want to do with the blog. For a niche marketing blog, I don't add anything more. For something more informational or flagship I'll add things like Comment Luv, dofollow, threaded comments and the like to encourage more interaction.

The wp-security plugin could be worth while as well to make sure you have WP all locked down.

minimeta widget- for quick links to admin area
oneclick- because i always used it
ozh admin drop down menu- easier navigation in the admin area
sociable- for social bookmarking
adsense injection- adsense
auto hyperlink urls- just faster
dofollow- for letting peoples links follow them
feedburner
keywordluv
statpress
google sitemap generator
all in one seo
wp-stick for sticky posts

Actually theres not even a need for MANY plugins, rest (incl. adsense, anylytics etc.) is already contained in theme i use, "flexibility"

Be careful on plugins and know which ones you deal with, not all plugins are safe to use just as not all themes are safe to use.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a plus in like KB Linker, which links to words or phrases with a URL that you choose? I use KB Linker on all of my blogs but lately it's become unreliable and I'd like to try another one.

Also....anybody know of a plug in that lets you add the text or link to the bottom of your posts, kind of like a signature?

The Google Sitemap plugin, for sure. Also Sociable and Feedburner. I always put all three of these on all my blogs. I've just started experimenting with the All-in-One SEO Pack, so I'm not sure how it's going to work out for me yet, but I hear it's very good.
