What would your strategy be?

The website is: PremierClinics .net - Alternative Health, Holistic Therapy and more

I purchased a PR3 domain via auction that vaguely resembles my niche market; which is the alternative health niche.

I built a very fast website that is built for optimal on-page SEO.

* I have added a number of products on the site.
* I'm now adding targeted freshly written articles to match those products.
* The articles link to the corresponding products on the site.

But I have no backlinks yet...

What would YOUR plan be at this point? Where would you focus all your efforts on?

I'm thinking of buying about 40-ish more articles, then buy a proper linkwheel to get my best products/articles backlinked

    I would do keyword research for the market, find keywords with commercial intent and that I could easily enter the market with little competition.

    Then I would write articles for each keyword, and make a post each article as a page on my site with the name of that keyword.

    Last, I would get some backlinking to each article until it was ranked on the first page of Google, and move on to the next.

    I know that's a very simplistic view, but I hope it gets the point across.

      I'd start by adding ...

      (i) a prominently incentivised opt-in to build a list;

      (ii) a clear affiliate disclaimer;

      (iii) any other stuff needed to make the site legal and FTC-compliant.

      Then I'd do more or less what JHolness suggests in the post above - a good plan.

      I'd also add product reviews to the site.

      I'd try to syndicate the articles, too, after publishing them and having them indexed on this site first - with backlinks from some relevant sites to this site's landing-page.

      I certainly wouldn't buy a linkwheel per se - that wouldn't figure in my SEO plans at all and I wouldn't expect to benefit from one.

    There are lots of confusion on buying a linkwheel and its effectiveness.If you have time then do some link building tasks yourself otherwise you may buy this service much cheaply from fiverr.
