Anyone else having problems with this plugin?
When I try to pull from YouTube I get the following message: No items found for... (Double check your Yahoo Developer API key on the settings screen or perhaps the content source had a burp. To be sure, feel free to try again!) I have sent an email to support, but it looks like he is having problems with his support desk. I upgraded and am using 3.37. His support site says that the upgrade should fix the problem, but it didn't. Any ideas? Thanks, Adam |

Hi Adam,
I've just tried it using 3.35 and it's working fine for me. I can't say I use YouTube a great deal with CC but I've never experienced that problem with them. The only time I've experienced it was when there's been a glitch with other so site eg. Yahoo Answers so it might be worth trying again. Sorry I can't be more help. Nigel |

Hi Adam
I also had this problem. Check the CC management page and see if you have anything in the Yahoo Developer Application ID box. If it is empty this is the problem. You need to put YahooDemo in there and this should fix the problem. |

Thanks, but I tried it with "YahooDemo" and tried it with a Yahoo Developer Id and neither worked...but just for YouTube...I was able to pull from YahooAnswers just fine...
I think I may have to try reinstalling it or something... |

The problem I'm getting is the posts from Yahoo Answers are usually jumbled to the extent they are difficult to read. Even after deleting the old version and upgrading to version 3.37 I still get the same problem.
I have checked out the Caffeinated Content management issues mentioned on this Warrior page, but these are all okay. Just awaiting an email response to my problem as Support is still having a problem it seems. |

Hate to make my very first post a negative one but......
I'm having the same problem with my Yahoo Answers - but in mine the question is okay, it's the responses that are just a bunch of Gooblygook. But my bigger issue is when I select "Articles" and put in a very basic keyword like "vampires" Caffeinated Content runs through a bunch of possible matches in Debug Mode(see below).... Trying to get results for keyword vampires... * Processing result 1 (Searching for Edward Cullen? Why Women Drool Over Vampires)... * Processing result 2 (Mediterranean Diet: Can Garlic Protect Us From More Than Vampires?)... * Processing result 3 (Vampire Costumes)... * Processing result 4 (Could Moonlight Be A Stake In The Heart Of Vampire Shows)... .... this goes on and on showing plenty of matches for vampires but when it finishes it displays: For vampires, I posted 0 new posts. No items found for vampires! This happens over and over again with very basic keywords that I know there are plenty of articles for (because I go to Ezine articles and look). The program is good in theory, but I've probably spent more time trying to get it to work than I would have spent just writing the dag-blam articles myself! Probably gonna ask for a refund unless someone from Caffeinated Content responds to my support email very soon. |

I haven't had any problems (knock on wood!) with CC as of late. I have 3.35 and I didn't know there was a 3.37, but now that I read this thread I am a little leery to upgrade. If it ain't broke, don't fix it I'm thinking now.

How do I change the author name. I obviously want cc to work on my blogs without me having to check and approve every post but when I get a article or video it says " John Doe asked". This doesn't look good. How would I change it?

Well it seems like it is working on one of my bluehost accounts, but not on another.
I have been going back and forth with CC support, but this is a slow process since I work during the day and they don't have any type of support forum...so it is more like one email per day...hopefully it will get sorted out soon. The plugin seems to have lots of potential, but I wish there was a little more direction or some type of guide or forum...I too would like to know how to remove the "john doe asked:" as well as make some other adjustments... |

ON a different note, does anyone know how to make sure the link from the article writers are active, I know it strips it out but I thought that would be against the rules of grabbing articles. I ask this b/c read in a different place, authors are starting to get upset over seeing their content taken but not getting the link back.

Here's the response I got :
"I don't have any explanation other than it seems like those particular IPs have been banned by the Google API/YouTube. It's possible that someone is/was assigned to those IPs and abused them to the point of banning. I will be adding proxy support to CC in one of the coming versions which might alleviate the problem." |

Hi All,
If you read the email Jason sent out with the latest update 3.37 he does say/ imply that the newest version is buggy (not his exact words) I tested it and he's right. I'm still using 3.35 and have no problems with it, other than the ones I create on my own My advise, stick with 3.35 Dave |

I just downloaded my CC software. It says it's version 3.3.1, not 3.31? I haven't installed it anywhere yet. Is this correct ? I'm kinda' glad it's not 3.37 since you all are saying it's quite buggy but 3.3.1 ? Now I'm really confused.

Most of these posts are from January 09. It's now June 09. I just purhcased and I am experiencing all the problems mentioned. no data coming back for articles I have looked up physically. Installed a clean version of wordpress the only plugin present CC. This Time I get the fsock function erros and time out errros.
I bought the plugin early yesterday. I have submitted multiple emails to support. I then get auto generated messages telling me they have a problem with their ticket system please send problems to their gmail account. When I do that I get another auto generated message asking me to send my emails to their gamil accounts. I posted a comment on their blog this afternoon hoping to get a response. Still no response. at this point I think it's time to attempt a refund, but since no one is reposponding to my support don't really think I would be able to get a refund. This blows! |

I don't think this has anything to do with your IP...it has to do with a plugin that is VERY buggy. I usually set everything up for a couple of months (well not everything, since I have never been able to get everything the plugin promised to actually work)...well last week it was time to set everything up again and now the article function is no longer working so the only thing I can now use it for is YouTube videos and I can only do that with the sites that I did not upgrade to 3.37.

3.37 didn't work for Yahoo Answers with me so I went back to this one and it still works. I tried emailing support several times over a two week span with no joy whatsoever. Dave. |

My problem is that CC works fime for some of my sites and not at all on others. The challenge I am having is with the post template and the content template. On the sites that work, the setting is on default. On the sites that don't work, the setting is stuck on random. The random setting brings back only the titles but no article/video.
Does anyone know how I can fix this? |

I have all sites hosted with my Hostgator account. I't really weird. It works on some sites, and not on others. Even when I try to edit the code, it doesn't work. Can't answer why.

As it turns out, All I did was delete the plugin from the site, and set it up with my other computer. When I did that 2 nights ago, it worked. So I did the same thing with another site, and it worked also. No complaints anymore.

Well since nobody anywhere seemed to have an answer for this I went to HG support to see if they could figure it out. And they did. In about 30 mins. Not good news!!!
Here is their response It looks like articlesbase.com is blocking connections from our ******** SEO server. I have 10 different accounts with HG and Seohosting 6 work and four don't and all 4 have had the server ip blocked by articlesbase. So no more articles from articlesbase on the 200 blogs on those account Hope this explains why some of you are having the snoopy articlesbase error. Basically it means whatever hosting account you are using, has had that server blocked. Because the query to download the articles comes from you actual site and not your home ip there is very little you can do about it unless you can persuade articlesbase to remove the block..... |

I ad problems with the new version not posting yahoo answers but when I switched back to 3.3.5 it worked perfect. Something is wrong with the new version.

I read somewhere that EA changed their API (or whatever, I'm no techie) and CC is no longer able to pull from them. I tested it out and, in fact, I can no longer pull from EA. I didn't check anything else.
I sent in a support ticket a week ago, but haven't heard anything. |

I too have not been able to pull anything from either AB or EA. EA gives me a "dropping" error message and all AB does is pull the title and author box - no actual article.
I too sent a help ticket to Kansieo and so far no one has bothered to answer. Based on what I am reading around, pathetic support is the norm. Caffeinated Content is completely useless as it stands right now... |
