Is it me or does anyone else feel uncomfortable knowing that any day EZA (or any other article site) could just disappear or go down and a lot of people who rely on article traffic would be up a creek?
I wish there was a reliable way to backup my EZA account or all the material that is up there. I, of course, have it all in .doc format on my computer but just the time it takes submitting makes me want to have a backup option for EZA or any other article directory. Just ranting here. Thoughts? |

I always save a copy of any article I submit to any article directories.
That way, I will always have an original copy of all of my content. I would suggest you do the same thing. Regards, Shannon Herod |

Hey Shannon, I do. I mentioned that in the post. I was just talking about the submission times it takes, etc. It would be cool if you could back up an entire thing of what was already accepted, etc.

IMHO, anyone who relies on one method of anything is in trouble - traffic, sales, etc.
Perhaps you should "make hay while the sun shines" and start branching out with your article marketing efforts.

I don't rely on article marketing for even 5% of my traffic. But even that 5% makes me antsy. A lot of time goes into it all, just saying. I like to always be prepared so any "loose ends" really bother me....

I do not see a problem with EZA or any other popular directory going away anytime soon -- But .... I do see many problems where EZA is concerned because on many points they are their own worst enemy. Some of this is due to their article review process which is lacking in many areas. 1. Thier auto dup content checker has stopped some including me of posting actual 100% real, 100% unique, 100% fresh articles. When I can not post them, well I go to Buzzle and ArticlesBase. 2. They has been known to suspend some account due to the fact that they can not read and they assume the article you are posting belongs to someone else. Example I just had this issue myself, I have an article posted on my article directory under the name James Stein (I never use a pen name, everything I post is in my name). I then submitted this same article to EZA and BOOM account suspended saying the article belongs to someone else. Let me explain during christmas I offered to write 10 articles for some warriors, I posted and said I was going to post some articles and for 10 members to give me their resource box and I will add their resource box to the articles, I asked those 10 members to give me their niche. I wrote all 10 articles from scratch based on those 10 niches, I added their resource box and first posted them all to my directory and then posted them to 10 other directories. Now the one I posted on EZA they claim belongs to someone else just because the source box happens to mention a name but yet the article does infact say it was posted by me and to top it off the site it is posted belongs to me. So what do I do, go and post my articles on Buzzle and ArticlesBase 3. Many of the people doing these reviews don't even know a PLR article from a Unique Fresh Article. This is where a bunch of junk gets into the system, while others that write fresh content get harrassed. So what do I do with my fresh content go post it on Buzzle and ArticlesBase This is only one problem they have, there are others... Point is here, because they cause many problems many people will end up posting their fresh content someplace else. When too many start doing this then EZA will tell the difference, they will start to lose that top ranking. But anyways that is my take on the matter... James | |

Yes, I worry about that too.
What if the products I promote go belly up? That's why it is so important to "Google-proof" your business. You need to have a customer base that will be there even if you're not getting as much traffic |
