A designer I hired uploaded my squeeze page to a url that ends with htm
is different from a url that ends with html?

    There is no difference.

    The only difference ( which could be ) is that most hosting servers will require your default starting page to be named as "index.html" and not as "index.htm"...but that will also vary depending on your host and their setup.

    It's a personal preference thing. Some people like htm over html because it is one less keystroke. :-)

      Both are the same, but most time I do use html.

    There is no Programming Difference Between ALL OF THEM. you may call they just Extension Format Difference
