How many clickbanks do you have? and for what purpose do you have them? (eg, 1 per niche, 1 per product, 1 for you being an affiliate?)

Or do you have One clickbank account Per Niche/ Per product?

or per % ?

    There are multiple reasons for having more than one clickbank account-- I use one main one for all my affiliate marketing, but when it comes to launching a new product, I will have a separate clickbank account for each new product.

    I have one account for each product that I have, then three separate affiliate accounts.

    I have more than one affiliate account for a few reasons. Namely that back in the day Clickbank was rumored to be having some tracking problems and I started a new account to see if my sales started up again. But a new reason is that I use one for testing stuff that is less refined, another for passive type stuff (i.e. all the stuff that I've determined to be valid and long term with my testing account), and a third for specific promotions (launches, etc).

    I try to keep my eggs in more than one basket in case of hiccups.

    That's why I have two paypal accounts, 2 merchant accounts, and 2 backup funding sources too... I NEVER want to be in a position that I'm not able to take orders.

      so if you launch 10 products you will have 10 clickbank accounts.

      it there a way to tell on one clickbank product, with multiple products each product being sold, on the main Graph page? using some colours? -

      From the testing account to the passive/better clickbank account, how do you switch after you have tested the product with your testing account to the main other account?

      or do you just Change the Payment page urls in the sales page from

      ->clickbank Test account payment link

      to

      -> Clickbank Main replaced account payment link {after testing has been done}

        I'm too lazy for switching stuff...

        I basically run all my wild ideas through my testing account, the ones that pay off and look promising I start a campaign on my long term account.

        The testing account is a buffer for in case I come up with some hair brained idea that happens to mess me up, or get me banned or something (not that I advocate black hat stuff or anything like that, but I've been known to exploit loopholes until they're closed).

        The only campaigns that end up getting put into the main account are the ones that I've checked off that they work, that they're not high risk, and that they're long term. All the other crap stays in the testing account.

        I look at the testing account as my "quick cash" ideas, and the passive one as my long term strategy. A lot of "quick cash" ideas that I have actually end up paying out longer term, so I move them into more serious campaigns on my other account so long as they're not "high risk" or anything like that.

        Make sense?

        For instance, and just to clarify what I'm talking about.. In my testing account there are "campaigns" that I've tried for making articles into videos and blowing them out using video poster services and stuff.. they haven't really paid off as well as I wanted, so I don't set up a formal campaign. For the most part I use the account to test concepts to see if they'll make sales, etc. IF/When they do, I refine and set everything up under my main account.

          For vendors, it's very worthwhile having a separate account for each product. Multiple products are allowed within one account, but multiple marketplace listings and commission-rates aren't. And additional accounts are only $29.95 each, rather than $49.95 like the initial one.

          For affiliates, it can be worthwhile having more than one account for the reasons discussed in this thread, though each account is subject individually to both the "customer distribution requirement" and the "two checks rule".

          And of course for some vendors it's essential to have multiple affiliate accounts so that they can promote their own product through them in order to deceive people by boosting the gravity, in the hope of thereby attracting affiliates gullible enough to imagine that a high gravity signifies high sales.

            And you're getting free promotion for each of the accounts/products with numerous CB engines, etc... meaning they list your products in lots of places around the web.

    I have one CB account per niche - that's really because I don't like and / or don't know how to use the reporting tools.

    After a couple of products and TIDs I can't stand the clutter. Seemed easier to make another account.

    Different accounts for different niches. If you ever decide to sell part of your business, it will be much easier.

    I think you can have multiple accounts but if the username of yours is too obvious like your name then you can definitely try to create another account

    Fascinating to read the different opinions in this thread... but you know, it never really occurred to me to have more than one account -

    But then, that may be because the only products I sell are all related to IM business and all linked from one site, and just use the multi product manger to make it easier for affiliates.

    However, it may also stem back to when the only form of payment was by cheque, and that here in Australia it's costs $$ each time I banked a Clickbank Cheque (see, we even spell it differently!).

    And then once those cheques went over the $500 mark, it was a new problems all over again - once the world economic crisis hit, Aussie banks started sending those cheques back for clearance before cashing them (didn't matter that I'd been banking them since 2002).

    So yeah, for me - one cheque has always been best.
