Peripheral info products?

I have a couple questions regarding info product creation.

I'm considering writing a sort of buyers guide regarding a specific niche. I know the niche it self is making money.

Do you think that if the niche itself is profitable that an info product helping the consumer to make a more informed buying decision regarding the niche would be profitable also? A sort of buyers guide.

Also do you think seeing a lot of of adsense ads of a particular product or service is a good indication that the product would be a profitable niche to pursue?

    If you are genuinely knowledgable about the niche, and the product you create is well written and full of good, useful information then I see no reason why it wouldn't sell.

    The niche is just one half of the deal, I would say, the other is the quality of the actual product. Put them together: excellent niche + excellent product and how can it not work out!
