Facebook vs Google plus

I signed up with google plus, what I realised is their mehanism is like facebook (like 5yrs ago). What is your experience with google plus? Do you think they have joined social media a little too late? Or they should have come up with something different like twitter did?

    Well, I took a screenshot of my facebook acct and one of my Google Plus acct. It was shocking how much they looked the same. Seems Google could have some up with something more than a Facebook lookalike.

    Honestly, it's boring. All of my family and friends are on Facebook with thousands of photos and they have no intention of moving or even joining Google Plus. I don't log in often.

    Google Plus is way beyond Facebook. You should check out all of it's capabilities before you shout out stupid opinions. Look into it deeply and not just have a glance at the home page!
    Also, Google Plus adds a lot more value to rankings.

    It takes time for people to talk about G+ if they are really better than Facebook... and when people find G+ better, it will be another case of 'MySpace' all over again
