What does the "Thank" button do?

Hi,
I was wondering what the "thank you" button does when you click it. The one under each post on this forum. Thanks

See someone's thread or post you like or thought was highly valuable information?

Show them your appreciation by clicking on the Thanks button. Saves umpteen posts from multiple forum users all replying thank you for this info.

It sends $5 from your PayPal account to the person you're thanking.

Well there should a "Like" button also be there with "thanks" button so that we can like the comments too.......

Thanks are similar to Like buttons, except they're Thanks. Probably because Warriors are more THANK-able than they are LIKE-able =)
