Customizing GMail's New Look?

Hi All,

I just got the new GMail look and I really don't care for it. I can live with it though. However, I REALLY dislike the rust color of the "Compose" link on the top left-hand side.

Does anyone know if I can change that? I've looked through a few help sections and the Settings, but I don't see anything. I have a sneaking suspicion that it can't be changed, but I thought I'd ask here anyway.

    Not sure how to change it, but I definitely agree with you. It seems like every time they update it gets worse and worse.

    I totally agree with you as well but there's a way... you can change that rust color by switching the theme.

    To change the theme all you have to do is click the big gear icon on your top right and then choose themes. On the theme section choose Soft Gray or anything that you like...

    I use the mountain theme. The compose button is white, and the photos are amazing.
