Someones been trying to hack into my main moneymaker!

So, just checked my email... someones been trying to hack into my main site,

9 failed login attempts (3 lockout(s)) from IP: 94.142.134.238

Last user attempted: admin

IP was blocked for 24 hours


My password is very strong, 50 characters, I used last pass.

And I have installed a few security plugins... this one, limit log in atempt, seems to have saved my ass...

So... watch out warriors... there be scum about!

    The IP address resolves to Latvia.

    If you have Cpanel access, I'd add the IP address to the block file permanently not just for 24 hours.

      That work work, but very easy to "spoof" ips via online proxies.

      If OP actually uses admin as the username I suggest they change the username to something else harder to guess. Otherwise this tool is doing the job of banning the ip for to many logins to begin with.
