Question about ad copywriter / graphics person

What's Up My Warrior Friends?

Ok first off Im a newbie to the product creation world. So please bear with me. lol

I am currently working on my first WSO.

There's a basic fundamental that I don't seem to understand when it comes to the creation process.

I hope this makes sense so here goes:

After I have my copywriter create my ad do I then have my graphics guy do all the graphics around my ad?

I guess I should turn this question around.. Who's responsible to create the visual effect of the ad? Does the ad copywriter indicate what should be bold font or highlight this or that etc?

I might be confusing what my graphics guy should be doing with the ad copy if anything?

Sorry for a lame question, but thanks for your feedback!

Ed

The graphics person should be advised by the copywriter if
he is not familiar with direct marketing principles.

When I write copy for my clients I would advise them on
the graphics person to use or give general advise on what
graphics to use and sometimes do the graphics myself.

But at least the LAYOUT of the copy should be done/directed
    by the copywriter.

      Ray,

Thank you so much. That answers my question

I was just having a challenging time understanding this phase.

When I look at some WSOs out there with some awesome visual effects I just couldn’t understand if this was done by the graphics guy or ad copywriter.

Going forward I will make sure my graphics guy marries my copywriter LOL..

      Thanks again

      Ed

BTW.. Since you are so close to Tampa I just might hire you and maybe come visit too

LOL. For my 10 years of copywriting I think that I visited with only
one client in Naples. Never met another client face to face. With
all the big movement with offline marketing I'm yet to get my
        feet wet.

My friend is a copywriter and he usually gives specific instructions to whoever is the graphics person as to how the page should look. He says most graphics designers will be biased to make the ad pretty and distract from the words.
