Contemplating my navel...
We are all in this game to make money. Some people have more altruistic motives behind it, such as really helping people, some don't care if they are helping people or not they just want to make a buck. Nothing wrong with either of those. But what strikes me is that, in an awful lot of cases, and I'm guilty of this too, we seem to forget one thing. There are actual people, with actual lives, and problems, at the other end of our sales pages.
We should respect them enough to provide them with solutions, quality information, quality resources. The same way we would if we were a shop on the high street. Just because we are fairly anonymous in the virtual world doesn't mean that we should put any less than our best into what we offer.
I've had a couple of bad experiences with WSO's on here recently. It's made me want to shout, hey, I'm a person, have a bit of damned respect.
This is not meant to be a whinge more of a 'you reap what you sow' post. For all those out there just trying to put together a crappy product for short term profit consider this. If you bought one, would you go back for more? Consider the people you are selling to because although they are 'anonymous' really, they count. Take pride in what you are putting out there because it will be out there a long time. Make people remember your name for the right reason, not the wrong one.
If you have anything nasty to say about this post, please don't. Please just move along. I'm entitled to my opinion and my say and, as long as I am not being offensive, I should be allowed to have it.
Hoping to be here next week
