Use html code: target="_blank" at the end of the link. It will open in a new window.

oh yea, you might want to add a nofollow tag on top of the target blank tag. like this:

In some web building tools provided by your webhosting provider, you can make a link open up in a new window. Yahoo Sitebuilder allows you to do this easily without any knowledge of code.
