Please review new site

I have been dabbling in IM for the couple of months and so far have a couple of Amazon sites which are bringing in an ok income. I have now decided to take a look at Google Adsense.

I would really appreciate a bit of feedback on the new site I have just completed. The site is going to be monetized through Google adsense only at the moment. I was thinking about putting in an email capture and may do that in the future. Is there a better way of doing the adverts? Is the look and feel of the site ok? Link below;

    The site looks good and its nice. I just have a suggestion to change the direction of content to the left side instead of right, however its nice currently.Whats is the CMS you are using for running this site?

    Thanks for your reply socialbookmark. I will have a bit of a swap around and see how it looks. It is certainly a logical suggestion.

    I use my own CMS. I tried out Wordpress and although I can appreciate it is amazing for beginners I wasn't too keen on spending time relearning how to do basic things with it. I like to be able to put things where I want them and have the links etc exactly how I choose. As I am planning on building a few sites I thought it was worth the hassle of building something myself to do this with.

    I think you should try to incorporate Google Ads into post in order to get higher click threw rate and make more money. Also I saw that websites that have the content in the left side does seems to send more clicks to Google.
    I like the clean and simple design.

    Its very good, clean lay out and professional look. Definitely set up an email capture page in your widgets or as a pop up. If you ever look at selling the site you can sell for a higher price if you have a list plus you can derive much higher revenue from your list (that you have not yet created)

    If you can find a way to make your adsense stand out more then do it the reason I say this is because the way you have it now is good it looks good but it is just like every other good site out there.

    EG: The First Site I ever did

    My point is that the ads don't stand out people learn to NOT see them because they are so used to them being there.

    The design of the site looks great, but as said, you need to work a little bit at making the ads stand out more or how to incorporate them in the article.

    People really ignore the sidebar ads usually. Better yet to incorporate your free offer of some kind in the sidebar, always works better. Or send them straight to make a sale.

    The video is nice, I like it.
